ALBION JUNIORS – PLAYER & COACH REQUEST POLICY

At Albion Juniors, we value every player, family, and volunteer who contributes to our community. We understand that many players have preferences about friends, teams, or coaches, and we do our best to accommodate those whenever possible. However, to keep our program fair and balanced for everyone, all placement decisions are ultimately made by Albion Juniors staff.

1. Player Placement & Requests
Player registrations that include a friend, team, or coach request will be reviewed in the order they are received, regardless of whether the player is new or returning.

While we try to honor as many requests as possible, requests are not guaranteed under any circumstances. Team balance, roster availability, and league logistics are also considered when forming teams.

Submitting your registration during Early or Regular Registration significantly increases the likelihood of your request being honored. Late registrations are much less likely to be matched with specific teams or coaches.

Requests must always be within the same age group or division to be eligible for consideration.

2. Coach & Assistant Coach Requests
Volunteer coaches may identify an assistant coach during registration, but both must register their players during Early or Regular Registration to be considered for placement together.

Please note that only Albion Juniors staff can assign or add players to a roster.
Volunteer coaches do not have the authority to add, move, or remove players from any team roster at any time.

3. League Authority & Final Decisions
All team assignments, roster decisions, and coaching placements are made by Albion Juniors based on what is best for the program as a whole, including player development, fairness, and scheduling needs.

While we always welcome feedback, Albion Juniors reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding player and coach placements.
We ask that families and volunteers respect these decisions and trust that every choice is made thoughtfully and in the best interest of the players and league.
